GROUP COURSES

DISCUSSION COURSES

In these online English speaking courses, you'll develop your fluency and build your vocabulary. Every week, I'll send you and your classmates texts to read and videos to watch on a specific topic. You'll study them in your own time, using the Learner Training tasks to help you, and then we'll come together, online, to talk about the ideas in the texts.

Our focus during the discussion will always be on meaning rather than language, because we know that that's the best way to learn English, but we'll follow up with you after the class to give you feedback on the language you used.

The topics we talk about are really varied, and we can always adapt the course to match the interests of the group. Past themes include: the environment, girl power, communication, artificial intelligence, art, and politics, among others.

All classes are run through Google Meet, materials shared via Google Classroom and there are a maximum of 5 students per group.
